When I say that our Cotton Nap Mat holds a special place in my heart, I truly mean it. The journey began at home, with my sewing machine and some cotton fabric. At the time, one of my biggest dilemmas was deciding on the filling. Should it be 100% cotton for a completely natural feel, or polyester for better durability and ease of maintenance? I crafted prototypes of both, tested them rigorously, and ultimately determined that polyester filling was the ideal choice. It made the nap mat lighter, easier to wash and dry, and perfect for everyday use—qualities that every parent values in a product meant for their child.
With my homemade sample in hand, I started the search for the right manufacturing partner. This step was far from simple. I worked with multiple factories, requesting samples and reviewing their quality. It took eight rounds of revisions to fine-tune every detail of the nap mat. From stitching to fabric selection, I worked closely with the production team to ensure that the final product met the highest standards of quality and care.
The design process for the pattern was equally meticulous. I wanted something timeless and versatile—something both children and parents would enjoy, without overwhelming colors or prints. After designing a minimalist yet charming pattern, I spent weeks refining the colors until they felt just right.
The final step was perhaps the most rewarding. With the finished nap mat in hand, my family and I set out on a camping trip to test it in real-life conditions. We used it for naps, playtime, and cozy moments under the stars. It passed every test with flying colors, giving me the confidence that this was more than just a product—it was a piece of our story that I could now share with others.
